Negative taken of group of men and women at the Freedom Train. Image includes A.M. & N. President Davis (center), John Howard (behind Davis), Mr. Green (left of Davis) who was Head of the Chamber of Commerce and two leading businessmen and wife. The Freedom Train came through Pine Bluff, Jefferson County, Arkansas on January 21, 1948. Between September, 17, 1947 and January, 1949, the Freedom Train traveled 33,162 miles, visiting 300 communities in all 48 states of America with three exhibit cars with original historical documents.
